Tarte Tatin Recipe

Information:

Ingredients:
  • 1 roll of puff pastry
  • 100 g caster sugar
  • 4 golden apples
  • 30 g butter

Preparation:
In a pie pan pour 80 g of granulated sugar and butter in flakes.

Bake at 170 degrees for about ten minutes. Meanwhile peel and slice the apples into slices not too thin and place in a radial pattern over the sugar has melted and caramelized the meantime.

Sprinkle with remaining sugar and bake again for 5 minutes, then leave to cool.

Coat the apples with the pastry inward folding excess dough around the edge of the pan, tucking in all the layer of apples. Bake for 20-25 minutes.

Remove from oven and overturn the tarte tatin in the still warm serving dish.

Serve warm, accompanied by cream or with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
