Salmon Gratin

Information:

  • Number of persons: 6

Ingredients:
  • 6 fresh salmon steaks
  • 50 g butter
  • Salt, pepper
  • 3 tablespoons S. tomato paste
  • 4 dl dry white wine
  • 250 g cream
  • 50 g grated Swiss cheese
  • Dill

Preparation:
  1. The steaks should be 2 cm thick. Wash them, dry them in paper towels, salt and pepper them them on both sides. In a large frying pan, brown them in 50 g of butter.
  2. Remove the fish and put it in a baking dish. In a bowl, mix the tomato paste, white wine, grated cheese and sour cream lightly beaten, pour this mixture over the salmon steaks, add a few sprigs of dill. Bake in hot oven 230 degrees (gas mark 7).
  3. Decorate the dish with some lemon slices. If you can not find dill, replace it with the stems of fennel bulb.
